Job Description: ARAS Developers

Position Overview -

We are seeking an experienced ARAS Developer to join our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team. The role involves designing, customizing, and maintaining solutions within the Aras Innovator PLM platform, including system integrations, workflows, and application enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in .NET, SQL, and web technologies, along with hands-on experience in Aras Innovator development.

Key Responsibilities -

Design, develop, and customize applications within the Aras Innovator PLM platform.
Configure and implement ItemTypes, Workflows, Life Cycles, and Permissions.
Develop and maintain integrations between Aras Innovator and other enterprise systems (ERP, CAD, MES, QMS).
Write, optimize, and maintain code using C#, .NET, JavaScript, XML, and SQL Server.
Support upgrades, patches, and migrations of Aras Innovator environments.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in Aras applications.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Stay updated with Aras Innovator releases, best practices, and new features.

Qualifications -

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
Proven hands-on experience (X+ years) in Aras Innovator development and customization.
Strong understanding of Aras Innovator architecture (AML, ItemTypes, Workflows, Life Cycles, Permissions).
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, XML/XSLT, and SQL Server.
Experience with REST/SOAP web services and system integrations.
Familiarity with PLM concepts (BOM management, change management, document control).
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills -

Experience with integrations between Aras Innovator and CAD/ERP systems.
Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps).
Exposure to manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or medical device industries.
Aras Innovator training or certifications are an advantage.
